Training Managers and Supervisors – Counselling Skills

Training and empowering managers and supervisors to be able to conduct employee counselling sessions as and when required has become extremely critical. An employee counselling session is an opportunity for a supervisor to meet with an employee and discuss some aspect of the employee’s performance. It is not a form of punishment in itself, but rather a way to improve performance. If not trained, Managers and Supervisors will not understand the essence of employee counselling

Employee counselling is a means of learning about your employee’s problems and helping solve them. Such problems are generally caused by one’s work, emotional stance, mental health and outside work situations
